Rowdy gave me the idea to start this business. What began with my own dog grew into Easy Scoops and a way to give other dog people more time to enjoy their yards.
After Rowdy passed in 2025, he became our mascot when we rebranded. He’ll always be part of our story, and now his friendly face carries that story forward.
Pet waste removal is a unique industry, and I take every aspect of it very seriously. I personally select every hire, choosing only people I’d trust in my own home and around my own family.

Founded in 2020 by owner Kohl Merling, Easy Scoops has been scooping poop for six years. Previously known as Sandia Pet Waste Removal, we help homeowners and communities keep pet waste under control.
Our goal is simple: keep people happy, keep dogs safe, and give dog owners more time back in their day.
Our trained, uniformed and background-checked technicians take the details seriously: a thorough walk, a second check and a photo of your secured gate.
